On January 24, 1984, Apple introduced the first Macintosh computer, the world’s first successful consumer oriented personal computer. As Apple has grown, so have their products. Until today the Apple chip has been developed to the M4.
The year of 2020 was also a historic time for Apple. They released the M1 chip, which is the first chip Apple develops its own. It also marks the full shift to in-house processor development for Mac computers or laptops.
In the last two years, Apple released the M4 chip, which pushed the boundaries of Mac performance even further. Last year, the chip was only included in the latest iPad Pro and MacBook pro.
Looking back at the history of Apple computers, from 1984 to the present day, Apple has always driven the development of Mac computers with the spirit of innovation from the time of Steve Jobs. And in the future, as AI, chip technology, and the system ecosystem continue to be optimized, the Mac will continue to lead the way in a new era of personal computing.
